Raising money for Cardinal Hume Centre

We help young people, children and families facing homelessness and poverty in Westminster. We know the strongest predictor of adult homelessness is childhood poverty. That's why our work starts with children and young people. Ending homelessness tomorrow begins with what we do for children today.

Story

Sunday 26th April, the day the London Marathon would have taken place, we're joining the rest of the UK for The 2.6 Challenge. The 2.6 Challenge can be any activity you like – from running 2.6 miles, to holding an online workout with 26 of your friends.

On Sunday the Booth family will be completing the following 5 challenges to raise money for the Cardinal Hume Centre:

2.6 bike routes - complete within 26 minutes

Constructing a 2.6m long marble run

2.6 hikes up Holmbury Hill

26 press ups in a row

26 doughnuts home-baked & eaten

The Cardinal Hume Centre, despite huge logistical and financial challenges, is managing to keep its hostel open, helping 37 young people to stay safe and off the streets. Every single day they have front-line staff working 24 hours, running everything from cookery lessons, to mental health workshops. It is so hard to social distance in this environment, but it is vital work that has to continue. Please donate whatever you can and help us give to a very worthy cause.

Thank you so much!

Lots of Love,

The Booth Family xx
