Story

Oh hi there, thank you for stopping by our page!

We’re Dale, Graham and Hannah, and together we are....

🥁🥁🥁

Born to Run This Way (LOL).

On Sunday 1st March 2026, we’ll be lacing up for our first-ever half marathon and while we’re already nervous, we’re just as excited to be running in support of The Sussex Beacon, a brilliant Brighton-based charity that supports the wellbeing and independence of people living with HIV.

We were basically inspired by Mr Olly Alexander when he announced that he'll be joining Team Beacon-https://www.scenemag.co.uk/olly-alexander-joins-team-beacon-to-run-brighton-half-marathon/ so thank youuu Olly if you ever read this! <3

The Sussex Beacon receives less than a third of its funding from statutory sources, meaning the rest comes from fundraising efforts like this one. That’s why #TeamBeacon at the 35th Brighton Half Marathon is so vital, every step helps fund their incredible work across Sussex.

One of their standout services is their partnership with the Lawson Unit’s Sunflower Clinic, offering holistic support to new parents living with HIV.

This includes free formula milk (up to £250 for a 6-month supply) and medical-grade breast pumps (around £47/month).

Since this support isn’t available through the NHS, The Sussex Beacon provides a unique and essential resource for families.

By raising £250, we could fund 6 months of formula milk for one baby. Every runner’s fundraising helps support a mother or breastfeeding parent living with HIV and we’re hoping to smash that target and raise even more.

And if you’re feeling generous, don't forget to sponsor us please and thank you! Every donation really will make a difference and we’ll be forever grateful (and probably crying happy tears at the finish line).🥲

Thank you thank you thank you,

Dale, Graham, and Hannah xoxo
