I'm taking on the London Marathon and for a great cause!
Any one who knows me knows I love a crazy challenge 😝 And this year I'm going to do this challenge in aid of BOSP (Brighter Opportunities for Special Children). I work with BOSP as a support worker and love seeing what great care and opportunities this local charity provides to those who needs and deserve it. Read on to find out more......

BOSP is a small independent self funded charity, who have been supporting families for over 34 years by providing fun activity clubs with full care for children and young people who have complex disabilities or life limiting illnesses.
BOSP aims to reduce isolation and develop the children and young people's independence, self esteem and social skills in a fully supported environment, whilst providing respite for the family.
They provide 16 different educational activity respite clubs and respite services on weekdays, weekends and during school holidays for children and young people from birth to 25 years, and their families.
These include Saturday and holiday clubs, inclusive toddler groups and sensory sessions, hydrotherapy, counselling, peer s support, advocacy, after school and youth clubs, family fun days and a various of clubs in the community for different ages. They regularly support over 400 children, parents and carers.
In 2022 BOSP were honoured with the Queens reward for voluntary service (an equivalent of an MBE and the highest recognition a voluntary group can recieve).
