Unfortunately, due to an algae outbreak on the lake, the Dragon Boat Festival has been postponed until Saturday 19th September.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts so far. We will continue raising funds throughout the summer and look forward to participating in the event on its rescheduled date.

This year, a team of colleagues from Bournemouth & Poole College is excited to take on a personal challenge by participating in the Poole Dragon Boat Festival taking place on 6 June 2026. Our mission is to raise awareness and funds for Dorset Mind, a remarkable local charity that has been championing mental health in Dorset for over 75 years.

Dorset Mind plays a vital role in connecting and changing minds, bringing communities together to create meaningful and lasting change. Their life-changing services support both adults and children through active monitoring and triage in Doctor’s surgeries, counselling, wellbeing groups, and mentoring programs.
