So long story short, a group of us have caught the bug for climbing big hills and yes, reaching the summit and the personal challenge is great, but how can we make it more meaningful? We had the thought of doing the Three Peaks Challenge (UK edition) to raise money for Mind Charity.

Mind are a mental health charity with the aim of educating people on the topic and providing specialist help to people suffering. Removing the stigma around mental health and speaking out is something we are all committed to having had challenges ourselves and knowing others who have suffered.

So the challenge itself will take place on Friday 13th May, & what is the challenge? Ascend and descend the three highest peaks across the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) in 24 hours including travel time between each peak. Lots of Soreen bars and SiS gels needed.

What’s more, we will be doing the entire challenge in Budgie Smugglers…
