🚌 Help Us Raise £15,000 to Get Our Minibus on the Road

Since 2014, Breaking Barriers Building Bridges (BBBB) has supported young people and families across Nottingham, creating safe spaces, building confidence and helping young people access opportunities that can change their lives.

Through youth clubs, football sessions, holiday activities, outreach work, one-to-one support and community engagement, BBBB works alongside young people facing some of the most serious challenges in our communities.

Now we have a new goal:

🎯 Raise £15,000 to purchase our own minibus.

For many of the young people we work with, transport is one of the biggest barriers to taking part in positive activities and opportunities.

Without reliable transport, young people can struggle to attend:

⚽ Football training and matches — including fixtures outside Nottingham

🏫 School and educational provision

🥾 Hiking, outdoor activities and excursions

🤝 Youth clubs and social activities

🌍 Educational and cultural trips

💪 Positive activities that build confidence, resilience and life skills

A minibus would allow us to bring young people together, safely transport them across the city and beyond, and make sure that a lack of transport doesn’t mean missing out.

This is about much more than a minibus.

It’s about giving a young person the chance to attend football training.

It’s about making sure a child can join an educational trip.

It’s about getting young people outdoors, exploring new places and experiencing things they may otherwise never have access to.

It’s about creating friendships, building confidence and providing positive alternatives for young people who may be vulnerable to isolation, violence or exploitation.

🏃‍♂️ Running for a reason

This year, BBBB is joining forces with Himmah to take on the Robin Hood Half Marathon to help raise vital funds for our communities.

Our goal is to raise £15,000 towards purchasing the minibus.

Whether you can donate £5, £20, £50, £100 or more, every contribution takes us one step closer to getting the minibus on the road.
