Our much loved Mum/Mother-in-Law/Grandmother Gillian died in October 2024, under the excellent care of the Princess Alice Hospice. We were incredibly grateful for the help we received, from the wellbeing support when mum was unwell, to the end of life care, dignity and compassion in Mum's last moments and the wider care for the family, Princess Alice were incredible. Its not until you need them that you realise how important hospices are and they rely almost solely on fundraising. So the 4 of us are running the Royal Parks half marathon, to help raise much needed funds.

Princess Alice Hospice provides a comprehensive range of services that respond to the individual needs of patients and their families, so that they can live life to the full, create memories, share special moments and when the time comes, support them through, before and after the death of a loved one.

It costs us £11.5 million each year to provide free, high quality specialist end of life care to tens of thousands of people with life threatening illnesses. We rely on wonderful supporters like you to help us to generate thousands of pounds through participating in Royal Parks Half Marathon.
