The evening of Quiz night at the Irish centre on 4th of September raised over £1800-00 for good causes to support stroke care, research and education for patients admitted to stroke unit at RVI. Thanks to great efforts by all stroke team and out specialist OT Samantha Briggs in particular, who was instrumental in putting this great fun-filled event.

We are looking forward to our advanced strike care conference at St James Football stadium.

Row-a-thon/ cycling event around Christmas will then be followed by a large art exhibition in the Biscuit factory on 6th February 2026.

The art exhibition event will kick off with a musical show themed at famous Hollywood and Bollywood songs. The art exhibition will feature paintings from famous northeast artists as well as paintings and sculptures from stroke survivors, their careers and from health care professionals. The money raised through art sell will help raise crucial funds to enhance the outstanding care we provide to stroke patients in Newcastle.

Donations will go directly toward purchasing much-needed resources to improve lives and deliver better care.

We hope these events will become annual highlights, continuing to generate the essential funds that make such a difference.

As the official Charity of Newcastle Hospitals, every penny raised is spent locally to improve the health and wellbeing of people in the North East and beyond.
