This year Brockwell Swimmers will again be raising money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute.

On Monday 14th July a five person relay team will attempt to swim the English Channel from Dover to France. This should be a prime slot to swim but if the weathers does misbehave the swim may be delayed until later in the year. The twenty and half mile crossing will be swum one hour at a time by each member; e.g. one hour swim then four hours rest. Last year’s successful swim took just over 14 hours so fingers crossed for our entrepid 2023 swimmers.

Also, on Saturdat 12th July Brockwell Swimmers will attempt to swim a matching distance of 676 lengths of the Lido. We have one lane for three hours, 9am to 12noon. How many could you pledge? More details on our web site www.brockwellswimmers.com
