In these unprecedented times it is very hard for charities to raise money. Given that I am an ex-soldier I thought it only right that I try to help the Poppy Appeal this year. I have therefore decided to undertake a marathon walk in flip flops and shorts as this is what I am normally dressed in. The challenge was on! My older brother saw what I intended to do and as he has raised lots of money for charity previously he didn't hesitate to join the team.

We know that at present times are not easy for many people but we would be grateful for every donation given to support this years poppy appeal.
