We are fundraising on this page in addition to holding a comedy night at the Cinnamon Club in Bowdon, Altrincham on Friday 28 February 2020 to raise much needed vital funds for 3 charities that are very close to our hearts;

CLDF (Children's Liver Disease Foundation) NPUK (Niemann-pick uk) Starlight Children's charity

Our gorgeous son Blair is nearly 8. After he was born, he developed liver disease, which we now know was caused by a very cruel rare disease called Niemann-pick type C. In March 2014 he was given his amazing new gift of life when he had his successful liver transplant in Leeds, after some of the cells in his liver had started to turn pre-cancerous & we are forever eternally grateful to his donor.

He's regularly been in & out of Hospital since birth, where he's had amazing care from all the teams. We've had lost of ups & downs since then including, a very hairy leukemia scare, internal bleeds & blood transfusions, because despite being life saving, a liver transplant is never a cure, it brings with it a host of other potential issues.

Throughout it all, he keeps bouncing back, smiling, dancing, singing & making us all laugh. We are so lucky to have such an amazingly strong, loving, happy, confident and fun son, who we love dearly. He is an inspiration to us all.

We've learned to take one day at a time & live each day to the full!! Blair is doing great at the moment & loving life 😀

All 3 of the charities have given us & all the other families, amazing support through very tough times. We want to give something back, so that they can continue this work for others.
