Hi, my name is Eva.I will be donating my hair in memory of Nigel Cullen and to raise money and awareness for two charities. I have been growing my hair since 2020 and it’s now past waist length. On 17th February I am having it all cut off to support 2 charities:Cornwall Air Ambulance & The Little Princess Trust.

I am donating a whopping 16” of my hair to The Little Princess Trust so that a young child with cancer has an opportunity to have a real hair wig. This charity does incredible work supporting strong young people with cancer who have lost their confidence along with their hair. Donations of hair and money enable these young people to have specialist wig appointments and styling so they can once more look and feel as their family and friends know them to be.

Cornwall Air Ambulance is a Charity that over the last year has come to mean a lot to me and our local community. In 2023 and 2024 I had the pleasure of working for Bear Cornwall, a small family run business in St Mawes. My colleagues and I became a member of Nigel and Lucy’s special ‘Bear’ family, with their amazing children Harris and Swift. Tragically on 20th May 2024 Nigel was killed in a road accident near Truro. It was a dreadful devastating shock to all of us and the Community. It has really changed my attitude about what is valuable and my outlook in life.

Since Nigel’s accident, Lucy and the Bear Cornwall community have been raising money for Cornwall Air Ambulance who attended Nigel on the day, they did their very best for him. They have raised over £8000 so far, but Lucy’s dream is to reach £10,000. Each Air Ambulance mission costs the charity £5000, so if we can reach £10,000 then we will have paid for Nigel’s mission plus one more to help save someone else’s life. It would mean the world to me to help Lucy, Harris and Swift achieve their goal.
