To help make this celebration truly inclusive, we warmly invite you to make a minimum donation of £50 per person.

Your generosity will help bring children and their parents from Child Action Lanka communities across Sri Lanka to this once-in-a-generation celebration by supporting their transportation, meals, accommodation where required, and other logistical costs.

For many of these families, this will be their first opportunity to celebrate the incredible journey they have been part of. Your support will help ensure they can stand alongside the partners, volunteers, and friends who have believed in them over the past twenty years.

History

for the past 20 years, Child Action Lanka works to assist and transform the lives of disadvantaged children in Sri Lanka. We work with street kids and underprivileged children from babies to adults; and also support the parents and communities. We run holistic education centres around the island. The children receive healthy meals, emotional support, counselling, education, tuition and a safe place to have fun. We offer vocational training and micro credit schemes. We fund books, bags, uniforms and shoes to enable children to go to school. We also run a safe house for women and children at risk, based outside Kandy. Many of the children come from very challenging backgrounds and to see them start to grow and thrive is a privilege. Many see the centre as their safe place where they can get the support they need, not just with studies but also emotional help. The centres reach over 1,500 children. We want to see the next generation empowered to live their dreams!
