Callum’s Crew: Riding for Myton
We are a group of Callum Plummer’s family and friends taking on the BCF Charity Bike Ride to raise vital funds for The Myton Hospices.
On Friday 3rd July, we will be cycling through the Warwickshire countryside from the BCF offices in Coventry to honour his memory and give back to the charity who helped us and Callum at a time of need.
This cause is deeply personal to all of us, and it has the full backing of BCF, Callum’s workplace.

Callum worked there as a Marketing and Design Executive during his university internship. He loved his work, brought immense talent to their photography and media, and was deeply admired by his colleagues. As they shared in their official company update:
"The reason for the change of supporting charity [last] year is the recent passing of our young colleague, Callum Plummer...
The cause is personal to the BCF, and with this in mind, we hope that our riders will help us to fundraise more than ever before."
Last year, BCF riders and supporters hit their fundraising target. Together, BCF activities have now raised over £26,000 for The Myton Hospices in Callum’s memory. We are so proud to be continuing and building on that total this year.

Why We Are Riding
Callum was a much loved son, brother, relative and friend. During his illness, the team at Myton looked after him with unbelievable care and compassion.

They gave us a private room with dedicated care, which wasn't always possible in the hospital. Thanks to their incredible support, Callum and his fiancée, Grace, were able to have a beautiful handfasting ceremony, helping their wishes come true. Myton has also extended this same level of care to the loved ones of other riders on our team, including Rob's dad.
The staff helped our family say goodbye in a truly dignified and peaceful way. They supported all of us through an unimaginably hard time, and this ride is our way of saying a massive thank you.

Why Your Donation Matters
Many people do not realise that The Myton Hospices is a charity and not part of the NHS. Only a small portion of their funding comes from the government.

They have to raise millions every year to keep their services free of charge for people with terminal or life limiting illnesses and their loved ones. Every pound really does make a difference to patients and families right here in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Please Support Us
Please donate whatever you can spare and share our page with your network. Whether that is £5, £20 or more, your support will help Myton continue their incredible work. It means a huge amount to all of us riding for Callum.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
