Let’s do our part this summer to help our neighbors in need by participating in the annual Captain’s Battle Food Fight. Join us for the sixth year in a row as we raise money for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
The coronavirus pandemic and the economic crisis means more people than ever are facing hunger each day. Last year we raised $19,807 in just five days, and our goal this year is to donate $20,000 to help fight hunger in North Carolina. The Food Bank is matching all donations throughout the month of July. For every dollar donated, the Food Bank can provide ten meals. We have the potential to make a huge impact.
The virtual food drive starts today, July 27, and runs until 11:59 PM on Friday, July 31.
