This year I have challenged myself to try new things and raise money for great causes.

Rian is my inspiration. In 2023 Rian was diagnosed with cancer. This resulted in two amputations and extremely aggressive chemotherapy. Rian has been learning how to complete every day tasks and relearn how to join in all his favourite activities with only one hand. Rian would like me to raise money for Young Lives v Cancer.

I have chosen three HUGE challenges for 2025.

1) London to Brighton Bike Ride- 15th June

I have learnt how to ride a road bike (I still struggle to unclip my feet and have fallen off a few times).

2) Bournemouth Pier to Pier- 5th July

I am learning how to swim the front crawl. This is proving very difficult as I panic about the breathing technique. 25m in the pool seems a long way and I need to work up to over 1 mile in the sea!

3) Half Marathon- TBC September/ October 2025

I completed a couple of half marathons last year. My knees are complaining but I'd really like to achieve a personal best this year and get as close to 2 hours as possible.
