Christian Aid's ground breaking work began in 1945, founded by British and Irish churches to help refugees following the Second World War.
For more than 70 years, Christian Aid has provided long-term development support and humanitarian relief for affected communities worldwide. They highlight how the war in Ukraine, the breadbasket of Europe, is leading to suffering and hunger even in countries thousands of miles away, including Zimbabwe and Afghanistan.
