I am taking part in the 2026 Norfolk Churches Trust fundraising event. It is almost 11 weeks since I had my left knee replaced and the first time that I've been able to ride my bike.

I think it is important because Norfolk’s churches are an architectural treasure and I know the upkeep for things like windows and roofs is mainly down to the local parishes and fundraising by local people. I want to help churches and chapels to be kept open for everyone to enjoy. Hundreds like me cycle, walk or drive to raise awareness and    funds.
