Event: Doddie Aid 2023, from 1 January 2023 to 11 February 2023
Just when you thought January would be spent on the sofa, eating leftover chocolate coins, and counting down the days until the 6 Nations starts, it is back, Doddie Aid 2023!

Story

Both Doddie Weir and Rob Burrows stories have touched everyone in the UK and beyond. Doddie’s positive and determined attitude reminded me very much of my strong, brave and inspiring Mother Catherine. My Mum was diagnosed with MND in 1996 at age 41 and sadly lost her fight in 2001 aged 47. At that point in time no one had ever really heard of MND and we had no idea what devastating times lay ahead for us as a family. We have fundraised many times over the past 21 years but this year feels different. There suddenly feels like there’s a real chance to make a BIG difference.🙏💪🏻❤️

Doddie Weir said, “MND is not incurable, it’s just underfunded,” and I couldn’t agree more.

Well my AMAZING friends and family Theresa, Annie, Gillian, Lisa, Suzanne, Jenny, Angela, Carina, Julie, Bridget, Caroline, Antonia and Mariella have decided to tackle this as a team!!!

TEAM CATHIE’S ANGELS…we will try our best to clock up the miles for Glasgow District. Doddie Aid is a way for us all to do our little bit to help the Foundation in the quest to find better treatments and hopefully a cure one day for MND. Thank you for sponsoring us in any way you can. If anyone wishes to join our team we would love to have you with us!!! 2023 … Let’s do this!💪🏻💪🏻❤️❤️
