We signed up for this cycle event because Maggie's helps so many people with cancer and we want to support that effort. There is a Maggie's centre at the Royal Marsden Hospital where I am currently being treated with chemotherapy. It is a unique beautiful space where people can chat, sit quietly, get friendly advice and eat biscuits! It is nothing like a hospital! I also wanted to sign up because by the time the event happens I am hoping to be well enough for the challenge and it is giving me something positive to aim for.
