We're running the Bidwells Cambridge 10k in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK because our muscles matter.

This cause is important to us as both of Frankie and Cerys have Myotonic Dystrophy - a form of muscular dystrophy that causes progressive muscle weakness, fatigue and other symptoms that can make everyday tasks harder than they should be. It's more than tired legs or sore muscles. It can impact grip, mobility, vision, heart rhythm and energy levels.

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently on cure, and in many cases, it limits lives. MDUK funds ground-breaking research into treatments and cures as well as providing life-changing support to individuals and families living with these conditions.
