Story
Lifelong friends Im, Nicky, Alix, Jo and Sophie are taking on the marathon length South Downs Way Trek this May to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. With varying degrees of fitness (or lack thereof) and the aches, pains and niggles that come with being fifty-something, we are in no doubt that training for and completing this will be a significant challenge. Our friendship group has lost loved ones to cancer, supported family members and friends through treatment as well as had personal journeys from diagnosis to recovery. The work of charities like The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is crucial. Please sponsor us to help support them.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
