These two charities were both really close to Charlies heart.

St Mary's Church, Lasham was Charlies main place of worship for over 40 years. He spent many hours both leading and helping to lead services, fundraising for essential maintenance works, cleaning the building, mowing the churchyard grass and simply being a part of the congregation.

The Church is currently undergoing extensive maintenance work which is ensuring it will continue to have a central and vital role as a spiritual focal point and versatile meeting place in the heart of Lasham.

Donations to St Mary's Church Lasham have to be made through the diocese of Winchester, however all donations will be paid to St Mary'S Church Lasham.

Dementia-friendly Alton was a very important place for Charlie, enabling him to live life to the full to the very end. He spent almost half of his week engaged in activities in the Assembly Rooms participating in art groups, singing, dancing and exercising. He made many new friends with other members. The group was and continues to be a great support to Maggie and his daughter.
