On the 31st of May 2026, my best friend Maddie and I are taking on the Great Manchester 10K to raise money for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital’s upcoming MediCinema project.

The MediCinema will create a cinema space within the hospital, giving children and their families a chance to switch off and enjoy special moments together during incredibly difficult times.

Over the past few years, Maddie has spent more than 250 nights in Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, along with countless appointments and procedures. I’ve seen firsthand the impact this hospital has had on her life. This fundraiser isn’t just about running 10K, it’s about giving something back to a place that has given so much to my best friend and so many other families.
