Raising money for Cardinal Hume Centre

The Big Bed Down Challenge · 26 March 2021 ·

Take on the Cardinal Hume Centre Big Bed Down Challenge on Friday 26 March 2021. Whether you sleep on your sofa , lie on your lawn, bed down on your balcony, or camp in your kitchen - you will be helping the Cardinal Hume Centre prevent homelessness.

Story

On 26th March staff from the Cardinal Hume Centre are taking on our Big Bed Down Challenge to help raise money to support our vital work fighting poverty and homelessness.

The Cardinal Hume Centre has been a life line for vulnerable people during the pandemic, remaining a home to 40+ young people who otherwise would be homeless, running safe play sessions for vulnerable families, providing emergency food vouchers and delivering expert advice to ensure families remain in their home.

Our Big Bed Down Challenge will see us give up our bed in solidarity with the thousands that sleep rough or sofa surf in Britain each night. It will raise money for the Cardinal Hume Centres vital work.

£10 Can pay for a cooking class for a young homeless person

£30 Can support a family to stay in their home

£50 Can pay for bedding and towels when a young person moves into their new room

Please sponsor us what you can, as we give up my bed and help to tackle poverty and homelessness. Thank you
