Story
Dementia is considered young onset when it affects people under 65 years of age. It is also referred to as early onset or working age dementia, affecting people from as young as in their 30's, 40's and 50's. Younger People with Dementia support those living with a diagnosis, and their families, reducing social isolation and bringing people together when they need each other most.
I will be taking part in the Guildford Inflatable 5K for this great cause and would be extremely grateful for any donations you can spare.
CHD Living has recently started an exciting new partnership with YPWD, and we wanted to mark the beginning of this partnership in a meaningful way.
At CHD Living, we support people living with dementia, including individuals as young as 48. We see every day the challenges they face, as well as the strength, courage, and resilience they show. This is why supporting organisations like YPWD is so important to us.
We wanted to start this partnership strong by coming together as a team and raising money to support the incredible work being done. This fundraiser is not just about raising money — it’s about raising awareness, showing our commitment, and making a real difference to the lives of people affected by dementia.
Every donation, big or small, will help support this cause and means a great deal to us and the people we care for.
Thank you so much for your support.
