Story
Hello,
We are Wyatt, Josh, Josh and Mal. We would like to give this a crack. We are all gym lovers who all encourage and motivate eachother. We all have our own reasons for wanting to do this. However, I would like to share my (Mal’s) reason for doing this. My unbelievably strong Father, who is currently fighting his own battle with cancer. Now while he is not a teenager, I know full well that as the caring and compassionate man he is, he knows and values the support needed whilst suffering this awful disease, and recognises the need to do whatever possible to help support others, especially young people.
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words you have cancer. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity in the UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need so no young person faces cancer alone.
Every £25 donation provides an hour to talk. A Youth Support Coordinator provides the extra help young people need with things like studies, relationships and mental wellbeing throughout cancer treatment. £25 could pay for an hour of their time, helping them be there when they're needed most.
