Here at Cheltenham Spa Dental & Implant Clinic, Kidney Disease has affected members of our team personally and so we wanted to raise some funds to support this worthwhile cause. Each team member is going to be walking 70,951 steps in June in support of the 70,951 patients that are on renal replacement therapy in the UK. We have a Strava group set up to track our steps and will be doing lunchtime and weekend walks to get our steps in!

The National Kidney Federation is run by kidney patients to support kidney patients and their families. It runs the only free UK Helpline dedicated to kidney patients with two fully trained, experienced advisers providing a 5-day-per-week service to kidney patients, carers and healthcare professionals and Renal Units. The NKF Helpline is also the UK's largest provider of kidney-related medical information leaflets with a library of over 200 titles written by nephrologists in simple language for patients and carers.
