Story

Our family loves spending time in the Wissahickon! Fritz has grown up exploring the trails, enjoying the frog pond and throwing rocks in the creek. We are challenging ourselves to learn more about this gem in our community and complete all 50 miles of trails!

About the charity

Founded in 1924, FOW is an 3,000+ member nonprofit organization that works in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation to restore historical park structures, eliminate invasive plant species, monitor watershed management issues, and restore trails throughout Wissahickon Valley Park.
