Story
People that know me are aware that I have worked at LOROS for the last 5 years and I see first hand the importance of this incredible place. Fundraising is vital to keep LOROS running so we are setting ourselves yet another challenge….
Myself and my partner Lee, will be beginning in the town of Llanberis, in the heart of Eryri National Park, we will take on this unforgettable challenge alongside fellow LOROS supporters, trekking to the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) — at night.
Standing at 1,085 metres, Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales — and under the cover of darkness, it becomes an even greater test of our endurance, determination and teamwork. Guided by the beam of our head-torches and the encouragement of those around us, we will push ourselves physically and mentally to reach the summit beneath the star-filled skies.
Taking on the Snowdon at Night challenge is our opportunity to conquer this magnificent peak in a truly unique and unforgettable way. We will trek alongside fellow fundraisers united for LOROS Hospice, supported every step of the way by experienced mountain leaders. It’s a powerful challenge, an incredible experience — a chance to make every step count for local families supported by LOROS.
