Story
On August 7th, we are cycling the coast to coast route from Whitehaven to Sunderland - 200-odd kilometres across the north of England. With very little training or experience, we are going to complete this over two days.
We're doing it to raise money for Shropshire Mental Health Support, a charity doing important work for people in our home county who are struggling. Mental health services are stretched, waiting lists are long, and local charities like this one fill the gaps and help people get the help they need.
We're not experienced cyclists - we’re not even particularly good ones, but between us the six of us, we have the determination and will to get over the line. Every pound raised will not only inspire us to keep going, but will also help ensure that people across Shropshire know that support is there when they need it most.
Anything you can donate is extremely appreciated. And if you happen to see six broken lads sitting on the side of the road somewhere between the Lake District and Durham, just know that we are absolutely, 100% fine, and do not need any support, honest.
