Story
Staff and students from the Centre for Oral Immunobiology and Regenerative Medicine, Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London are fundraising for the MOUTH CANCER FOUNDATION AWARENESS WALK 2026.
Many of us are involved in research or treating patients with mouth cancer which is on the increase.
The charity is encouraging as many walkers as possible to join us at Old Deer Park in Richmond Upon Thames on Saturday 05 September 2026, for our annual Mouth Cancer Foundation Awareness Walks where we hope to raise funds to support out patients and their families.
There will be a choice of 2 different routes:
The traditional Mouth Cancer Foundation 10 KM Awareness Walk will start in Old Deer Park, Richmond Upon Thames and give participants a beautiful route along the river taking in Richmond Riverside.
From now on there will be a choice of distances, enthusiastic support to keep you motived as you march through the Ks and entertainment for all the family including a treasure hunt with prizes, face painting and our mascot Duke to keep the children entertained. The Mouth Cancer Foundation 5 KM Awareness Walk is family friendly and suitable for those who prefer to walk shorter distances.
Thank you for your support :)
