We are doing this walk to raise vital funds for the Parkinson’s Society, who support innumerable people affected by the disease.

Our mum, Ann (Annie to her grandchildren), lived with the disease for 20 years. If prevention, better treatment, or ultimately a cure, can be found, other families will be spared the heartache of watching their loved one struggle with the horrible effects.

The 53 mile walk is from Arundel to Winchester, along the South Downs, and we must complete it in 2 days, with an overnight stop. We are all training hard (dogs have never enjoyed so many long walks!) and are looking forward to the challenge on 19 & 20 June. Hoping it’s going to be a dry and sunny weekend!
