Collins Aerospace in Kilkeel will be fundraising throughout the year in support of our chosen Charity of the Year partners, Life & Time and The Well Suicide Prevention Hub.

Following a staff vote, we are pleased to support two local charities. Both organisations deliver essential services within our community and make a real difference to local people.

Life & Time is a community based end of life nursing service that supports patients and their families in their own homes overnight, between 10pm and 8am. Its nurses, supported by on call doctors, provide responsive clinical care, symptom control and reassurance at a time when families are often at their most vulnerable.

The Kilkeel and Mourne team is made up entirely of local nurses and doctors, caring for people in the communities where they themselves live. Since launching, the team has supported families across Kilkeel and the wider Mourne area, providing compassionate and timely care when it matters most.

The Well Suicide Prevention Hub is a local community wellness hub based in Kilkeel, focused on mental health and emotional wellbeing. It provides crisis support alongside short and long term support for individuals, families and organisations.

The hub offers a safe and welcoming space where people can talk openly about mental health and suicide prevention. Services include counselling, education, youth programmes and community outreach. Support is available to everyone, regardless of age, background, religion or culture, helping to strengthen the local community.

All funds raised throughout the year will support these two vital local causes. Collins Aerospace in Kilkeel looks forward to raising awareness of their work and supporting them through fundraising, volunteering and team led activities.
