Event: Charity Bike Ride, on 15 December 2022
We are fundraising so that we can continue to provide paid employment and training to neurodiverse adults in a safe and supportive environment to help them develop their practical, social and life skills so they lead independent and productive lives

Story

In March 2020 when COVID really started to take hold we were able to keep Computer Wizard going as an essential business. Geraint decided to quit smoking and cycle to work and to clients, and he was also giving support to vulnerable people stuck at home and so would cycle then too.

A daily ride became a week, a week a month, then a year without missing a day on a bike. He is now approaching his final goal of 1000 consecutive days, and will have cycled around 31,000km in total and not smoked a single cigarette!

So, the charity ride that will end his streak is for Atypical Work Space. He is a trustee of this small charity which he co-founded during lockdown; it provides a safe working space and paid employment for neurodiverse adults; helping them on a path to leading more independent and rewarding lives. Computer Wizard works very closely with the charity providing support when needed.

The charity receives no external funding so the money raised will be of enormous benefit. The link below are photos taken whilst out riding.
