Raising money for Hope House & Ty Gobaith

Hope House and Ty Gobaith gives every local child with a life-threatening condition and their family access to professional care and improves their quality of life from the point of diagnosis.

Story

We all made it in one piece from Menai Bridge to Conwy. Thank you to everyone who has supported us whether it be through donations or time - it is much appreciated.

We are walking the coast path from Menai Bridge Cricket Club to Conwy Cricket Club. This will take in just over 20 miles of walking the route along the Menai Straits, and the mouth of the River Conwy. It is an opportunity for us to raise funds for this wonderful charity. The path takes us along the very edge of the water, up and down hills, through mud, through the ups and downs of walking probably more than 7 hours and of course keeping each other motivated.

Why Ty Gobaith Hope House? Well it's local to us, just outside of Conwy and offers peace and tranquillity to the children and families who visit. They support more than 750 local families who are either caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died. It costs £7.5 million every year to run and only two months income comes from statutory sources - for the other 10 months of the year they are dependent on public support.

Please support us as we try to raise as much money as we for this much needed service.
