Cycle the World
Campaign by Crisis (RCN 1082947)
We’re looking for dedicated and enthusiastic cyclists from across Lloyds Banking Group to team up and collectively circle the world!

Story

Let's make a difference together! Our spirited team from Corporate Credit, including Jeremy Walker, Janet Lucas, Elena Wajih, Andrew Garrad, Tim Wilson, Paris Outsis Dimitriadis and Daniel Russell, is gearing up for an exhilarating 24-hour stationary bike challenge.

On the 12th and 13th of September, we'll embark on a day and night marathon of cycling, taking turns to keep the wheels spinning. We're not just competing with 7 other teams in London for distance; we're riding every mile with a purpose.

Our mission is to support Crisis in their quest to end homelessness. With over 227,000 families and individuals in the UK experiencing the worst forms of homelessness, and 2 million households in poor living conditions, the time for action is now. And so we are putting out pedal power to good use!

Crisis dedicates itself to providing year-long support through education, employment, housing services, advice, and wellbeing programs. They envision a future without homelessness, and so do we.

As LBG’s chosen charity, our partnership with Crisis is more than a commitment – it's a belief that we can make a significant change. It’s not just about helping those most at risk on the street, it also involves pushing for the building over 1 million new, genuinely affordable homes over the next ten years. LBG and Crisis are advocating for homes that offer more than just shelter; we're fighting for dignity, stability, and a chance for a brighter future.

Homelessness can be overcome, and it's our collective efforts that will make it possible. Your contribution to our intense cycling endeavour will fuel our determination and, more importantly, bring us closer to a world where everyone has a place to call home. Join us, support us, and let's end homelessness together.
