Story
Last year, our Grandad was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Like so many families, we didn’t expect to hear those words — but suddenly, it was our reality.
None of us have ever run a marathon… so naturally we signed up for 100km.
The furthest any of us have managed is a half marathon. So jumping straight to 100km felt like the obvious next step. Sensible? Not really. Meaningful? Absolutely.
On 16th–17th May, we’re taking on 100KM in 24 hours along the Jurassic Coast to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
He’s the kind of Grandad who has always shown up for us.
Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The money raised will fund research, early diagnosis, and vital support for families going through it.
If 100 people donated £10, we’d raise £1,000.
If you’re reading this, you can help make that happen.
At some point during those 100km, our legs will want to stop.
We won’t — because this matters more than discomfort.
If you can donate, even a small amount, it genuinely makes a difference.
And if you can’t, sharing this page helps more than you realise.
Thank you for supporting us — and our Grandad.
