Raising money for Cholsey Volunteers Trust

Cholsey Volunteers was set up in March 2020 in response to the Covid-19 Crisis. Since then we have grown from strength to strength to provide a long term service to the elderly and vulnerable residents of Cholsey who need a little extra help. We provide many services including: A weekday meals on foot service. Volunteer drivers who can take recipients to various medical appointments. Twice a week prescription pick ups. Weekly food bank and treat bags deliveries. Befriending. Dog walking. Odd jobs. Advocacy and support hub. We offer this service out to anyone unable to provide this service for themselves.

Story

Welcome to the Cholsey Volunteers Running Team's Just Giving page!

Launched in 2023, the 'CV Runners' have so far completed the Reading Half Marathon, and the amazing Zoe helped raise a crucial £516 for Cholsey Volunteers.

We're back for 2024, and embarking on the Oxford Half Marathon on 13th October. We have three runners taking on the challenge: Chris is continuing on from his success at the London Marathon and he's roped his friend John-Robert in to help with the efforts, Lizzy is returning having had to defer her Reading Half Marathon run from 2023 due to injury. Our runners have an ambitious goal but every single penny will help towards us reaching our whopping £20,000 fundraising target for 2024.

If you don't know about Cholsey Volunteers, there's a bit about us below. In short, we are a community lifeline, when you need us.
