Story
The Childhood Trust is London’s child poverty charity, dedicated to ensuring every child has a healthy, happy, and safe childhood, preparing them for life and breaking the cycle of poverty. It supports 390,000 children across all 33 London boroughs by funding and delivering programmes that address their practical and emotional needs. The charity selects, funds, and strengthens around 135 voluntary organisations working in London annually, delivering essential services to alleviate the impact of poverty, such as nutritious meals, educational resources, and mental health support. Since 2013, it has helped raise £45 million, supporting over 1,000 projects and improving the lives of 1.1 million children.
