Unfortunately on the 23rd of January one of my old football coaches and good friend, (Bruiser) sadly lost his battle to cancer, After getting in contact with his family a charity close to their hearts was the Sophie's appeal so i have decided to run to raise money for that charity as well as CLAN.

In order to raise money for these two very worthy causes, i have challenged myself to run 10 Km a day, everyday, throughout the month of February. With the aim to run a minimum of 280 Km/174 Miles.

CLAN and The Sophie Barringer Appeal,

CLAN - CLAN is a charity based across the North-East Scotland and Northern Isles that helps supporting anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. They provide emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer, their family, carers and friends.

Sophie Barringer Appeal - The aim of the Sophie's Appeal is to support the social, Emotional and educational welfare of children and there families suddenly faced with the reality of cancer by providing a caring and supportive environment in both local hospitals and in the community.

CLAN and The Sophie Barringer Appeal provide much needed support to families affected by cancer, donations are more important then ever during the current pandemic.
