Update #notthedart10k

Sadly the Dart 10k was cancelled due to unsafe wind, waves and pollution, so I swapped the water for the bike — trading 10k swimming for a 100k gravel loop around the Chiltern Hills 🚴. Thank you for your support — your donations still go straight to Anthony Nolan and Level Water, and we’ll be back next year for another crack at the swim!

On 13th September 2025, I’ll be swimming 10km down the River Dart — mouth firmly closed and fingers crossed for a decent current and reasonably clean water.

This is a great opportunity to raise money for two brilliant charities:

Anthony Nolan, a UK-based charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders. They do this by running a stem cell register that matches patients with lifesaving donors, as well as funding vital research and supporting patients and their families through treatment.

Level Water, who give children with disabilities the chance to experience the freedom of swimming. Through tailored lessons, they help children build physical strength, develop social skills, and grow in confidence.
