For our 2025 Great North Run fundraiser we have decided to do something a little different and raise money for two special charities.

Over the past 5 years, with your help, we have raised over £2000 for St Columba’s Hospice who looked after Grandpa Mo. It is a very special charity to us and one we have loved supporting. This will be our last Great North Run Fundraiser for St Columba’s (as we would like to support some other special charities in the future) so we would really love to give them one big lastGreat North Run donation this year with your help 💛💙

St Columba’s Hospice Care provides palliative and end-of-life care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. They are an independent charity offering free, flexible and person-centred care and support to patients and their families for over 40 years.

This year we will also be fundraising for Dementia UK, a charity close to Dave’s heart, with some special family members having lived with Dementia 💗🩵

Dementia is particularly tough on both the individual and their families. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family, working towards a day where no one has to face dementia alone. Their specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses provide life-changing advice and support, to anyone affected by dementia, whenever it is needed. Your donation will help greatly towards providing further support for the great service this charity provides.
