Story
1) DORSET COUNTY ... brought new JOYS & new POSSIBILITIES to me in April/May 2013.
Dr.Tingay (GP), Mr.Tony Doyle (Anaesthetist) & Dr.Sean Walsh (Orthopaedic) are literal life-savers, along with Nurse Jackie who tenderly read my holistic needs. From illness at home (14/4) through triage-crash (16/4) and Not-Expected-To-Live (18/4), these guys put me back on my feet over 6 1/2 weeks.
2) ATKINSON MORLEY ... gave END-OF-LIFE care & compassion to our respective fathers in 1997 and 2025.
Dad (Martin) fell into a coma following an aneurism in October 1997, dying 10 days later under the loving eye of NHS medics in the Atkinson Morley Hospital, Raynes Park. Eternally grateful for wise companionship on our brief journey of relinquishment.
Dad (Peter) fell unconscious following a major stroke in February 2025, dying 7 days later under the loving eys of NHS medics in the Atkinson Morley Wing, St.George's Tooting. Eternally grateful for wise companionship on our brief journey of relinquishment.
3) MELTON MENCAP ... bring new JOYS & new POSSIBILITIES to our youngest daughter every fortnight.
Lorraine and her Team are absolute angels, providing 10 hours of entertainment, engagement & education each month. Their love, delight & dedication is unsurpassed - together, they are God's smile to Rose & to her parents.
