Story
It all started on the Isle of Wight above - since my BIG birthday in June, I've been cycling, running and walking, to raise money for six charities. Thank you so much for all your donations so far, you've been really generous. The Run to Refuge page has closed, but I'll be carrying on until mid-June hoping to raise more for the other five charities - Action Guinea Bissau, Age UK, the RSPCA, SmileTrain UK and The Trussell Trust. They all do such amazing, vital work, and it would be great if you could donate.
I'd aimed to get to 6,000 km, but was really hoping for 6,000 miles or better still 10,000 km. Haven't done as much cycling as planned, as I broke my wrist three weeks after starting - so the recumbent bike at the gym came in handy. It also meant missing two of my longest ultra events (which I'll be doing this year instead, after this has finished), but have done other shorter trail events, and lots of walking and have reached 6,500 km - will need to average 30 km per day to get to 10,000 km, so really hope I make it.
Thank you so much for any donation you can make - it is very much appreciated.
