Story
This October, Devon Army Cadet Force is proud to take part in Restart a Heart Month as part of our annual fundraising campaign. Cadets and adult volunteers across Devon will be hosting open evenings at all detachments, where families, friends, and members of the community are invited to attend informal training sessions on CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
Our aim is to build confidence and raise awareness of these life-saving skills within our local communities.
As part of this initiative, we’re raising funds for two incredible charities:
Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) – Supporting young people through the Army Cadet experience, helping them build skills, confidence, and resilience.
Jay’s AIM – A local charity dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac death in young people through education and access to defibrillators.
We’ve set a fundraising target of £2,000, which will be shared equally between ACCT UK and Jay’s AIM. You can choose to donate to either charity or split your donation 50/50 between them — every contribution makes a difference.
Together, we’re not only raising vital funds but also strengthening community awareness and showcasing the positive impact of Devon ACF.
Thank you for your support!
