Story
Hi! My name is Eilidh Ann and in 2018 I was diagnosed with APML a rare subset of AML. It mainly affects those between the ages of 30-40 and is very acute. After 4 gruelling rounds of chemo I was in remission and have been ever since. Now that I'm getting back on my feet, my brother Calum suggested we do this challenge so along with him and my husband we each aim to do the 248km or maybe more..... Even our daughter who is 4 is doing her bit! Donate whatever you feel you can to help the via research needed to help treat and cure blood cancer.
Update 07/07/21: Alasdair was 1st, completing his 248km on Sunday. Izzy completed her 12km on Tuesday- and actually went above and beyond and did 14.5km in total 🌟. Calum MacAskill completed all 248km this Tuesday evening. EA has 80 odd km to go and still cycling one handed in the gym one handed but she's confident for a Saturday finish. Thank you all so much for your generous donations. This money is invaluable to the trial's and medical teams around the country battling away at Leukaemia in all its forms .
