Sometimes life lines up in ways you can’t ignore.

One afternoon, my brother and I were sitting in a coffee shop chatting about the idea of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. My brother told me about bumping into a friend whose young daughter, Aria, is battling a rare mitochondrial disease. As we spoke about possibly climbing to raise funds for her, something extraordinary happened—Aria and her dad walked into the very same café.

That moment felt like more than coincidence—it was a sign. Synchronicity sealed the deal 💫

So here we are: a family team—me (Ricky), my twin brother Gavin, our dad Barry, uncle Jess, brother Johnny, and nephew Segurd—taking on Africa’s highest peak to help give Aria a fighting chance.

We are covering every cost of this trip ourselves, so 100% of donations will go directly to Just4Children to support life-saving treatment and research for Aria’s condition.
