Dawn, Paul, Daniel and Matthew Butler have formed Team Dinkydoodle and are taking part in Trek26PeakDistrict2026-26miles.

Dawn's mum Gillian Collinson was diagnosed with Alzheimers in January 2024 and within such a short space of time she declined so much that she sadly passed away in March 2026. Not only are we hoping to raise some money for such a good cause, but we are also now taking on this trek in Gill's honour.

Having been touched by Alzheimers personally, we can now fully appreciate its devastating effects and wish to do all we can to raise funds to help find a cure, and support families who are going through it. We have committed to raising £3,000 ( Dawn £1,500, Paul £500 and Daniel £500 and Matthew £500) - so if you feel inclined to donate - please pick a team member who is the furthest away from their target, and if you can't donate - did you know that SHARING our page with others is a great way to help us.
