I am Charlotte, Andy's daughter. I am 30 years old and have already lost my mum 4 years ago. In 2021 my dad was diagnosed with early on set dimentia. He lives in brisbane Australia which is over 23 hour flight away from his family. A little about Andy and the amazing dad/brother/uncle/son he is:

Andy Duckworth is 60 years old. When in the UK he was a very trusted and well respect man who created a career within the plumbing trade. He then moved to Australia 🇦🇺 to live his life to the fullest. He vowed to set up his own business cleaning pools until he suffered a heart attack within his first couple of years in Australia.

He then was unable to work and struggled with everyday tasks. In 2021 he was diagnosed with early on set dementia. Life became increasingly difficult for our family as covid prevented us from flying over to bring him home. Unfortunately his illness prevented him from flying and we 6 no longer able to bring him back home.

Andy was not expected to exceed his 60th birthday however he has smashed this and although is not his normal self, he still has his wicked sense of humour and has man utd all over his room.

I am wanting to raise money and awareness for this charity as it has completely come out of nowhere for us as a family. I don't know much about the illness however I strive to raise awareness.
